Unfortunately, his father died when he was 9 years old, and after that, his grandfather took charge of their family. Due to economic problems, his grandfather no longer cooperated with his family and he was forced to live an independent life. Anyway, after this, they had to rent a house for themselves. At that time, they didn\u2019t even have a small household item, which means that they started life from hand-to-mouth. When his grandfather left them the responsibility of their life, at the beginning, it was very difficult for them. He did not have any income, and they were facing economic problems every day. He used to do hard work in a mechanics\u2019 shop, and he earned 300 AFN a week until he got familiar with the work. From that day, he earned 500 AFN a week. Anyway, he used to cover their daily expenses from this low income. Since he was nine years old, he took the responsibility for all the problems in his family\u2019s life with his mother. Anyway, his mother tried all the time to make sure her sons and daughter would not feel anything lacking in their lives.<br \/>\nUnfortunately, the economic and family problems that he had prevented him from continuing his education; I was deprived of a father\u2019s love, and I saw myself alone and without any support. In fact, it was very difficult and shocked me all the time. It\u2019s a very important point to remember. Since I was a child, I dreamed of standing on my own feet and being a servant to my family. \u201c<br \/>\nWorking in a mechanic\u2019s shop was very hard for him, and the salary was low, so he had to look for another job. Unfortunately, he couldn\u2019t find one until he decided to buy an ice cream machine. During the summer season, the weather was also very hot, and he was selling ice cream in Herat city. Sometimes he was satisfied with the little benefit that he got, but he hardly earned money in difficult situations. One day, he was at Pol Hashmi Street when a man came to him and told him: \u201cWhat are you doing, my dear? He told him: \u201cI am selling ice cream. He asked him again: would you like to join a training program so you don\u2019t sell ice cream on the road anymore and have a more comfortable life? He told him: \u201cYes, why not?\u201d This is my great ambition. If you know about my life and my family, you know that we deal with many daily problems. I\u2019d like to have an easier job like other children in society. I think this is my inalienable right to have a more comfortable life like other children, and then he asked him more questions. After that, he gave him a card with the address on it and directed him to go to this address with your mother. After that, the relevant office referred him to the Ansari Vocational Training Centre, and after going through the process, he was selected for the vocational training program. Besides all of these, he gets an FFT for paying his family food payment. He got about 8000 Afghanis in each month. This amount is so good for his financial situation.<br \/>\nAccording to the learning in this vocation, he has learned more interesting issues technically and vocationally about life skills and hygiene, as well as how he can set up his small businesses in the future. All the mentioned topics have motivated him to work and have increased his hope for the future. He is overjoyed that he can help his family every month thanks to WFP 8000 AFA and that he receives daily transportation from the HELP and OSAA organizations.<br \/>\nBy learning a new vocation, his life is changed. His financial problems have decreased, and his vision of the future has improved. He feels hopeful and empowered to change his life and his family\u2019s lives. He is very motivated to begin his work according to his vocation. In this way, his life will be assured in the future.<br \/>\nHe said, \u201cMy life was full of problems. I tried to go to Iran and find a way to change my life, but after immigration I understood that I could not work there. After spending difficult days there, the police crossed me from border. I was so sad and felt I could do nothing in the world. But from the time I came here, I felt that I could change the world. I know a new vocation and my mind is confident about my family\u2019s situation. He was born into a poor family who were illiterate and busy with agricultural work. He lives with his parents and siblings. His parents are aged, and his sisters are jobless at home. Therefore, he is the head of his family and the bread earner in his house. With acceptance of a variety of problems, he could study until he could finish school.<br \/>\nHe had to immigrate to Iran illegally to earn money. On the way to Iran, Iran\u2019s police fired at him, but he was able to escape and went to Iran by the way. He borrowed about 21,000 Afghanis for this trip, which he could not pay until now. He had told them that by going to Iran, he could earn money and pay it back. But after being in Iran for about 12 days and looking for a job, police in Iran arrested him, and after beating him, they forced him across the border. She learns advanced tailoring skills at the Ansari Vocational Training Center.<br \/>\nBefore coming to Ansari VTC, Sonia had a difficult life. Her husband is a laborer, and his child works in a carwash. Her financial problems had been so much that every day she borrowed 100 or 200 Afghanis from the neighbors. Although she was interested in tailoring, she could not attend any vocational courses due to financial problems. She was faced with a real challenge.<br \/>\nHer biggest challenge is that she had no private home. In other words, they live in a rented simple house. She had to move to 3 houses in 4 months. Because of this problem, she could not have permanent customers, and moving to a new house takes a lot of time and energy.<br \/>\n\u201cI have to move to a new house because my family could not pay the amount of rent due to my financial problems.\u201d She said<br \/>\nShe learns a new skill (advanced tailoring) and sees that this is a way that she can change her and her family\u2019s lives. Besides this, she could achieve approximately 24000 Afghanis from WFP. So, she could learn the vocation with a calm mind. Now she is a tailoring trainer in the (Ekhlas) course, and with confidence and knowledge, she accepts the customers\u2019 orders. Both the number of customers and the fee have increased. She can sew different models of clothes with high precision. She increased her tailoring fee. She can earn money by teaching tailoring to other women in the course.<br \/>\nShe wants to continue her vocation and dreams of having a workshop. She wants to produce clothes for districts because she knows what kind of clothes have a market in districts. \u201cUntil when will our society be a consumer, we have the capacity to produce the clothes, not import them at a high cost from abroad. I want to make a job for myself and for some other women and young girls in my city,\u201d she said.<br \/>\nBesides, she has the dream of sewing pants and Monto to export to Iran because in Iran the cost of clothes is higher than here. She said that Iran is our neighbor, and exporting clothes is easier for us. On the other hand, this country is in a boycott, so the cost of clothes is higher than here. \u201d<br \/>\nSonia is one of our most successful students who tries to have her own vocation in her neighborhood and always motivates her classmates to have their own business.<br \/>\nNowadays, she sews a coat and skirt for 600\u2013700 AFN, and her tailoring fee for pants is 200\u2013250 Afs. She says, \u201cI feel confident that I am a highly skilled tailor. I can sew every model to the world\u2019s standards. I have the precision that an experienced tailor has. \u201d<br \/>\nShe says that she is seeing a lot of changes in her life, and now she can pay for her children\u2019s needs. She can be a big help for her husband at home. Besides the vocation, Ramin gets the amount of FFT for paying his family\u2019s food payment. He got about 8000 AFN per month.<br \/>\nHe learned lots of plumbing issues because beneficiaries study vocational skills theoretically and practically in this project. He says, \u201cI am familiar with all the essential equipment for plumbing, such as water tanker, hand stone, toilet stone, and water heater installation. I can fasten all kinds of pipes. \u201d He continued, \u201cBesides my vocation, I learned how to start a business. This information was obtained after attending the small business sessions.<br \/>\nHis biggest challenge is having no specific space for doing his plumbing activities (shop or market). He wants to open a shop for himself, but he is afraid of the rent of the shop. Therefore, he is looking for a supporter to cooperate with in opening the shop.<br \/>\nHe said, \u201cWith the cooperation of OSAA and the Help organization, we could rescue people from poverty. These organizations help us to be independent and have a comfortable life. I am really thankful to these two organizations and their partners. \u201d<br \/>\nFinally, he said that the opportunity to learn plumbing was the best event in his life. He loves working as a plumber because he thinks it is a secure working environment. To him, this means that he can control his future employment by working hard and being committed to doing his job. It was so hard for me to transfer heavy luggage from early morning until evening. Most of the time, I felt a pain in my back, but I had to earn money to help my father with house expenses.But after attending to the TVET project, his life is changed. He learned a new and useful vocation which has so many demands in his district. Besides the vacation, he could get his transportation fee. On the other hand, he gets FFT for paying his family food payment. He got about 8000 AFN each month. This amount is so good for the management of his family\u2019s financial situation. His father is so glad because his children have enough food. Their family feels so calm about this.<br \/>\n\u201cI really appreciate Help and OSAA organizations for executing such a program for us to determine our future,\u201d he said and continued, \u201cMy brother was a beneficiary of the Help organization program five years ago. After finishing his course, he could have a big career in Iran. \u201cI, as the representative of all Islam Qala people, am proud of the Help Organization, which helped the people when they lived in a most difficult situation.\u201d<br \/>\nMohammad Esmail is satisfied with the project, from which he benefits. \u201cI acknowledge the OSAA organization that prepared the appropriate location, equipment, and environment. I learned a lot from this project. Besides my vocation, I learned general education. After studying the Small Business subject, I now know how to start a new business.<br \/>\nMohammad Esmail can make every kind of door and window after learning to weld in Islam Qala MVTC. Now he can weld all the equipment. Before attending to this course, he never understood how to join two metals with each other. He\u2019s really into welding right now. He wants to open a store in the welding vocation. Also, he says I want to continue and increase my knowledge and skills in the welding scope. He dreams of going abroad to learn new things in this vocation and coming back. In this way, he wants to help his society.<br \/>\nFinally, he told a story about himself: \u201cWhen I was very young, 4 or 5 years old, I remember my dad taking me to a friend\u2019s welding store. There was a guy welding in the back, and all I remember is how bright it was, and I was mesmerized by it. Since then, I\u2019ve been hooked. He continued, \u201cI will never look back. I had a challenging life, but now I will have a very rewarding career in the trade that I will always be good at.
