\"\"On Wednesday,\u00a024th<\/sup>\u00a0Nov, 2021, Organization for Sustainable Aid in Afghanistan \/ OSAA with cooperation of Department of Labor and Social Affairs\/DoLSA and Help INGO organized the 17th<\/sup>\u00a0TVET and Employment Round-Table Meeting under the title\u00a0of \u201cThe role and importance of TVET in creating jobs and economic growth in the country, recent changes, challenges and expectations of stakeholders involved in the implementation and monitoring of the projects\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0in Women Empowerment and Social Association\/WESA Conference Room in Herat province.In this\u00a0roundtable meeting, representatives from Governmental directorates including Department of Labor and Social Affairs\/DoLSA, Dept. of Commerce and Industry, Industries (AWCCI) as well as representatives from I\/NGO and private sector\u00a0\u060cOrganization, NSDP, AHDAA, WVA\u060c\u00a0WISE\u060c\u00a0NRC, Help INGO, RSDO, WISE, and Women\u2019s Empowerment and Social Association \/WESA were attended.At the beginning\u00a0of the meeting, Mr. Naser Popal EESC Manager of OSAA, welcomed the participants to the 17th<\/sup>\u00a0TVET and Employment Roundtable Meeting.<\/p>\n

The session officially began with recitation of the Holy Quran. Then, the participants introduced themselves to each other.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Mr. Popal, reminded that the purpose of gathering in this roundtable is to find solutions to the problems of the institutions (NGOs) which are working in the field of (TVET). Mr. Popal also gave a brief introduction to the OSAA organization and the EESC activities to the participants.<\/p>\n

Later, in accordance with the agenda, the representatives of each of the NGOs and governmental departments introduced themselves and provided information about the activities of their institutions (NGOs) and the completed and ongoing projects to the subscriber.<\/p>\n

Then, Mr. Jawad Noori presented the presentation on the role and importance of technical and vocational training in job creation and economic growth in the country.<\/p>\n

Later, Mawlawi Ahmad Sabet, Head of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs of Herat Province, appreciated the efforts of organizers of this roundtable and expressed the full support of DOLSA from all INGOs and NNGOs in Herat province. He added that DoLSA is considering the solutions for solving the problems of the NGOs for betterment and more effectiveness of their projects.<\/p>\n

After discussions and exchanges and conclusions, the meeting ended with a prayer.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
