Organization for Sustainable Aid in Afghanistan (OSAA) convened a ‘Provincial Meeting’ in Herat, bringing together authorities, representatives of national and international organizations (I/NGOs), community elders, community council (shuras) heads, and village representatives.
The meeting aimed to showcase the achievements, experiences, and lessons learned from OSAA’s projects implemented across its target communities in Herat and Badghis provinces. It also provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange perspectives, share experiences, and strengthen collaboration in support of sustainable community development.
As part of the event, OSAA presented the findings of its recent research on the capacities of returnees from Iran. The study examined the skills and capabilities of returnees, as well as opportunities and challenges related to their integration into Herat’s labor market. The research findings were shared with all participants to promote evidence-based discussions and inform future programming.
